Usually in the winter months/darker evenings. Throughout the season we enjoyed a wide range of celestial sights, including constellations and a changing line‑up of planets. Jupiter, along with its Galilean moons, was a particular highlight on many nights, with Saturn also providing memorable views when conditions allowed.

Partial Solar Eclipse Viewing at Broughty Castle

Mills Observatory is hosting a partial solar eclipse viewing event at Broughty Castle, where open views along the River Tay offer a clear sightline west; solar eclipse glasses are available from the Castle Shop at £1 per pair.
